Just to let you know that the oak I used for this clock was a bit different to the usual English oak I normally use
It was much more of a darker / richer brown which makes me think it might be a European oak of some sort...
....How I got hold of it I do not know ??
The burr oak that houses the clock mechanism is English....its just the rest I'm not sure about
which is why I have put it £5.00 cheaper than the other oak clocks in this style
