some of the wood is naturally found in the shape it is in which case I don't do anything to it other than clean it up and oil it,
The sculptures that are carved by myself are sanded to a very fine finish and finished off with ample coatings of oil to give a smooth look and feel to them, I use many woods such as oak, elm, ash, walnut and others.
